Joseph William Bartosh, 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021 at his rural Dysart home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone. Interment will be held at the Garrison Cemetery with graveside military rites. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Joe was born on December 5, 1926, in Elberon, the son of Joseph and Agnes (Buresh) Bartosh. He graduated from Elberon High School and served his country in the United States Navy.

On January 14, 1948, he was united in marriage to Eileen Walters at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Joe worked as a foreman on the railroad and later began farming north of Keystone as well as operating Bartosh trucking. He was a member of the Keystone Turners where he enjoyed league bowling. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge 393 in Dysart and the El-Kahir Shrine in Cedar Rapids. Joe and Eileen loved to travel in their motorhome and by motorcycle. They wintered in Arizona for several years prior to Eileen's death in 2007.

He is survived by his sons, Jerry (Daya) Bartosh of Vinton, Marvin (Colette) Bartosh of Dysart, Clifford Bartosh of Gladbrook; 11 grandchildren; ___great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Eileen; brother Charlie Bartosh; and two sisters, Libbie Koss, and Marie Vilimek.
