Craig Allan Schminke Sr, 65, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away December 22, 2020 in his home.

Craig was born January 7, 1955 to Glenn and Lita (Albers) Schminke. He married Sherri Swearengin (Kozik) on October 27, 1979 and together, they had two children: Craig Allan Schminke Jr. and Brooke Renee Ivester (Schminke). Craig was a dedicated Oakland Raiders fan who proudly wore his black and white hat everywhere. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson on a warm summer day and stopping in for a cold beer at the local tavern. Above all things, Craig was most proud of being a father and grandpa.

He is survived by his son, CJ (Jessica) Schminke and their three children, of Mount Vernon; daughter, Brooke (Anthony) Ivester and their three children, Kael, Ashlyn, and Kelton, currently residing in Virginia; brother, Doug (Joanne) Schminke of Belle Plaine; family, Bridgette (Jacob) and Abram Miller of Centerville, Marlee Schminke of Missouri, Melissa (Jason) and Jacob Weldon of Nevada, and Lisa Wach of Belle Plaine.
