Bob Cummings, 82, passed away at his home Wednesday, December 16, 2020 of natural causes.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2020 at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton.
Bob was born September 17, 1938 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Roger and Ethel Seely Cummings. He attended school in Cedar Rapids and served his country in the U.S. Army for two years. Bob worked many years for D C Taylor and Schoonover Tuckpointing, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed fishing, going to casinos, watching the Hawkeyes and most of all, his family.
He is survived by his children, Michael Cummings, Vinton, Jen (Mitch) Kuhn, Urbana, Ryan Cummings, Vinton, Sandy (Tim) Severson, Lisbon and Amber Caruso, Madison, WI; brother, Bill Cummings, Vinton; grandchildren, Leah and Kaitlyn Kuhn, Urbana, Jacob Kisner, Vinton and Jared Klinger, Appleton, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Maxine.
