Obituaries : Joan Goersch

 Joan Goersch, 78, died Monday, September 30, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital in  Cedar Rapids.

     Private Committal Services were held.

     She was born April 15, 1941 to Hattie Van Zandt in Galveston TX.  She married James P. Goersch December 13, 1957 in San Diego, CA.

      Joan was a wonderful giving and caring person to everyone.  She was a devoted housewife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Joan was well known for her amazing cooking.  Everyone loved to eat at her house.

     She is survived by her son Jim (Nina) Goersch, two daughters, Lisa and Barbara Goersch; grandchildren, Tory, Allen, Trisha and Megan; and great grandchildren, Kharin and Karah. 

     She was preceded by her Mom, Husband Jim and Grandchildren, David and Reah Goersch.
