Obituaries : Brandon Nash Patava

VINTON: Brandon Nash "Baby P" Patava, 18, died July 24, 2017 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. 6^th St. in Vinton with Pastor Mike Ferguson officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton. Friends may register from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Brandon was born December 1, 1998 at Allen Hospital in Waterloo to Robert and Renee (Fiebelkorn) Patava and graduated from Vinton/Shellsburg High School. He was employed as a machinist at Ideal Industries. Brandon enjoyed working on cars, fishing, video games, and working with metal. His greatest joy was time spent with family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Renee Patava of Vinton; his twin brothers, Robert (Cassi Sloan) and Ronald (Cassie) Patava all of Vinton; his nieces, Serenity and Hennessey Patava and his great grandmother, Irene Geiger of Vinton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ron and Bev Fiebelkorn and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Arlene Patava. A memorial fund has been established.
