Obituaries : Steven Dean Kramer

Steven Dean Kramer, 60, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away peacefully, after a long struggle with cancer, November 18, 2016, at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix. Steven was born January 28, 1956 to Irene (Bellman) and Kenneth Kramer, and grew up in Vinton, Iowa. He graduated from Washington High School, Vinton, Iowa, and the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Steven lived in Phoenix since graduating from college where he worked for a cable company and more recently, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. His passion for cars led him to working on the pit crew for Ken Schrader Racing. Being able to experience the many victories of a winning team instilled in his sons his belief that anything is possible. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Irene Kramer, and a sister, Karen Kramer. Steven will be missed deeply by his wife of 29 years, Laurie, son Kenny (Yvette) Kramer and step-son, Kyle Baker, all of Phoenix, a brother Don Kramer (Lori), Ankeny, Iowa, and 2 sisters, Mary Larson (Eric), Maple Valley, WA, and RoseAnne (Roger) Rinderknecht, Clive, IA.
