Obituaries : James Michael 'Jim' Zahorik, Sr.

James Michael Zahorik, Sr., 70, died Sunday, September 4, 2016, at his home in Vinton. Jim donated his body to the University Of Iowa College Of Medicine. Jim was born August 10, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of James W. and Emma Arneson Zahorik. Jim was an iron worker and drove semi. Jim was a big fan of the Chicago White Sox. He was a very good and proud man. Jim is survived by the love of his life, Tammy; three sons; one daughter; two step-daughters; his brother and special friend, Rob; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
