Obituaries : Linda F. Engelking

Linda F. Engelking, 69, of Belle Plaine passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids.

Linda was born August 16, 1946 to Dale and Lorraine (Kaestner) Landgrebe in Cedar Rapids, IA. Linda graduated from Washington High School in Vinton, IA. After high school she earned her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse, she worked as a LPN at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton for several years.

She enjoyed the fine arts, music, drawing, being outdoors and spending time with grandkids and family.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Lori (Richard) Papesh of Belle Plaine, IA; sister, Cathy (Dean) Rogers of Oelwein, IA; brother, Keith (Jackie) Landgrebe of Milwaukee, WI; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Franky) Gallardo, Lilly and Jeana Papesh, and many more loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; James Contino and Bob Engelking.

Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, July 2, 2016 at First Lutheran Church, in Belle Plaine with Pastor Dean Duncan officiating. A private family burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton, IA following the service.
