Allen "Bud" Mathews

LANDER, WY - Allen “Bud” Mathews, 74, of Lander, WY, passed away May 22, 2016, following a short illness.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the home of Randy and Jen Lehman, 3251 Brandon Diagonal Blvd., Brandon, Iowa. Please dress casually (western). A potluck dinner will follow the service.

Bud was born May 12, 1942, the son of James and Maxine Wilde Mathews of Walker, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Joann Connelly Mathews, of Lander, WY; three daughters: Lorie Folwer of Chattaroy, WA; Dena McBride of Airway Heights, WA; and Lynette Vincent of Haverhill, NH; a son, Scott Mathews, of Haverhill, NH; two step-sons Kenny (Roni) Connelly of Lander, WY; and Deno (Deb) Connelly of Casper, WY; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Donna Rauch of Troy Mills; Loren (Carol) Mathews of Donna, TX; Sharon (Delbert) Koopman of Vinton, IA; Leila Stainbrook of Shoshoni, WY; Gale (Bonnie) Mathews of La Porte City; Dan (Deb) Mathews of Walker; and sister-in-law Betty Mathews of Walker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Lonnie Mathews; brother James Dean; brothers-in-law Walter Rauch and Jerry Stainbrook; and first wife, Rosetta.
