VINTON: Paulette Carol “Polly” Loeffers, 66 of Keokuk and formerly of Vinton and Marion died Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Lexington Square Care Center in Keokuk following an extended illness.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 East Sixth Street in Vinton with Pastor Troy Weigert officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 PM on Friday. A Memorial Fund has been established.
Polly was born March 13, 1949 in Vinton to William Lee and Florence Marie (Tuttle) Loeffers Sr. and graduated from the Washington High School in Vinton with the class of 1967. She attended Kirkwood Community College where she earned her LPN license. Prior to her retirement she enjoyed caring for patients in area nursing homes.
She is survived by her son, William Grant Loeffers of Cedar Rapids; her brother, William “Lynn” Lee Loeffers Jr. of Cedar Rapids and her nieces, Jean Marie Loeffers Van Dee of Walford and Jennifer Marlene Loeffers-Meyer of Marion.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents.
