Verna Mae Randall, 73, of Genoa died Saturday, July 4, 2015, at the Benedictine Manor of La Crosse.

She was born Dec. 7, 1941, in La Crosse, to William and Helen (Hammer) Flannery. Verna graduated from St. Peter’s Catholic High School in Hokah. She married Tom Randall Nov. 30, 1963, in Brownsville, Minn. Verna worked as the town clerk in Genoa for 17 years. She loved the outdoors, turkey hunting, deer hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; three children, Randy (Kim) Randall of Chaseburg, Annette (Rick) Randall-Grimes of Vinton, Iowa, and Bob Randall of Coloma, Wis.; four grandchildren, Kasey (Jacquelyn) Kreuzer, Tia Nagle, Nathan (Brittany) Randall and Nick Randall; one great-grandson, Wade Kreuzer; and a sister,Marian Lynch of Houston, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William Flannery; a sister, Mitzy Rothman; and her father and mother-in-law, Nathan and Ann Randall.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at St. Charles Catholic Church, Genoa. The Rev. William Dhein will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the church.
