Fairbank: Olive M. Grantham Gade age 93 passed away at the Vinton Lutheran Home, Tuesday September 17. Olive was born on November 16, 1920 the daughter of August and Anna (Giese) Detgen in Crookston, NE.
Funeral services will be held, Saturday, September 20 at 10:30 am with visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the United Methodist Church in Fairbank.
She is survived by one son, Russell (Lori) Grantham of De Soto, three sisters; Joyce Bratten, Marilyn (Robert) Condry both of Vinton and Barbara (Glenn) Hodgson of Dubuque, 25 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law; Karen Grantham of Fairbank and Clarice Grantham of Harcourt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Henry Grantham in 1961 and her second husband, William Gade in 2000, two sons; Robert Grantham and Howard Grantham alog with two sisters, Alice Fay and Esther Fay.
