Lou Ann Hunt, 88, of Vinton passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton. Services will be held Friday at 11 AM with a visitation beginning at 10 AM at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with Dean Dykstra and Greg Willert will be officiating. Burial will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Lou Ann Hunt was born on December 24, 1925 to Rufus and Jessie Davis Eoff in Edina, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Harold Hunt on November 11, 1946 in Memphis, Missouri. He passed away in 2005. Lou Ann enjoyed quilting, knitting, cooking and was very crafty. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sue Hunt of Vinton; grandchildren, Katrina (Rick) Wood and Cortney Hunt both of Vinton and Michael (Brittany) Hunt of Luzerne; 6 great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Erin, Michael, Korbin, Kalix, Brynlee; and a sister, Ruth Eoff of Washington, WA.

Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; son, Linwood Hunt; and 2 brothers, Richard and Russel Eoff.
