James C. Bottema, 76, of La Porte City, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, in Waterloo.He was born August 18, 1947, in Marshalltown, and raised by his parents, William "Bill” and Leona Selken Bottema on the farm outside of Mount Auburn. James served honorably in both the US Marine Corps and the US Army Reserves. Wayne Marlyn Becker
Wayne Marlyn Becker, 86, of Marshalltown, formerly of Blairstown, passed at home on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday morning, November 8th at 11:00 am at St. John Catholic Church, with Rev. Jacob Dunne as Celebrant. Alcott, 101, of Blairstown, IA passed away November 1, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, IA.Harold was born March 5, 1922, the son of Marion R. and Helen Luetta (Henkle) Alcott, in a logging camp on East Crooked Lake, Hubbard Co., MN. Audrey LaRue McIntire, 83, of Belle Plaine, Iowa passed away peacefully Monday, October 30, 2023 at Hiawatha Care Center, Hiawatha, Iowa.Audrey LaRue was born in Tecumseh, Nebraska on February 7, 1940, the daughter of Derwin and Irene (Wright) Ensor.
