Lyle W. 'Willy' Williams
Vinton—Lyle W. “Willy” Williams, 83, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 under hospice care at St Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will be 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 14, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton. Private family burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.

Daniel S. Milnes, 59, of Robins and formerly of Sumner, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his son’s home in Rochester, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Sumner, Iowa with Rev. Mike Christie officiating. Interment will follow at the Union Mound Cemetery in Sumner with military rites by Thomas E. Scott Shepherd
WATKINS: Scott Shepherd, 55 of Watkins died suddenly August 5, 2016 at his home in rural Watkins. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Blairstown Legion Hall. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 PM, Wednesday also at the Blairstown Legion Hall. Interment will be in the Norway Cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home in Blairstown is in charge of arrangements. Perry D. ELK RUN HEIGHTS – Perry Dennis Cook, 73, died Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, following a lingering illness.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
Perry was born April 22, 1943, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the son of Perry and Marjorie Peterson Cook. He graduated from Hickory High School in Meadville.
Brielle Louise Wilson
Brielle Louise Wilson, daughter of Ben and Madison (Yenser) Wilson, was stillborn July 23, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. In addition to her parents, Brielle is survived by her grandparents, Doug and Dawn Yenser of Vinton and Dave and Teresa Wilson of Garrison; great-grandparents, Ken and Joyce Schueler of Vinton, Celia Yenser of Watertown, Wis.
Helen Marie (Thomas) Haughey
Helen Marie (Thomas) Haughey age 95, and a resident of Tama, IA, for 67years, died in her home under the care of family and Iowa River Hospice on July 22, 2016.
Helen was bom in Oskaloosa, Iowa, October 11, 1920. She was second oldest of seven children born to Dave and Felicia (Carr) Thomas. She married Karl Haughey on November 2, 1940 in Oskaloosa. Christopher Daniel Martin
