News : Iowa DNR seeks Benton County photos for 'Happy Healthy Outdoors' contest

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is seeking entries for a photo contest to promote Healthy and Happy Outdoors

The DNR is asking Iowans to send in photos of how they’re enjoying Iowa’s outdoors. The DNR will use the best photo from each county to create a statewide photo quilt for the Iowa State Fair (and each county winner gets a subscription to Iowa Outdoors).

Kevep in mind that DNR employees, their spouses and those under 18 aren’t eligible (full contest rules and info here: http://www.iowadnr.gov/Recreation/HealthyHappyOutdoors/H2OPhotoQuilt.aspx). Photos are due July 22 and can be emailed tophotos@dnr.iowa.gov.
