While most of the landscaping around the old Benton County Law Enforcement Center was removed to allow for demolition of the old building and construction of the new, two trees on the east side of the property still stand.
Surrounded by orange fencing to help remind crews to try to avoid them, the trees are the only reminder of the way the site was before the flood of 2008.
The south foundation wall is nearing completion as workers continue pouring concrete.
