A tour of Benton County parks for the Benton County Board of Supervisors & Conservation Board will take place this Saturday, Aug. 6, beginning at the Nature Center, 5718 20th Avenue Drive northwest of Vinton (just west of Rodgers Park)

* Winegar Lake & Tobin Park Access

* Jackson Township Wildlife Area

* Minne-Estema Park

* Wildcat Bluff Park

* Tuttle Wildlife Area

* Polk Township Wildlife Area

* Pangborn Wildlife Preserve

* Mt. Auburn Boat Ramp

* Old Creamery Nature Trail

* Milroy Access

* Jackson Township Wildlife Area

* Hoefle-Dulin Area Park

* Hannen Lake Park

* Eden Township Wildlife Area

* Cumberlands Recreation Area

* Benton City – Fry Access

* Atkins Round House Area

* County Care Facility Wildlife Area

* Big Grove Township Wildlife Area

Transportation will be provided by the Benton County Transportation Bus Services. The purpose of this tour is solely for information gathering, per Chapter 21.2 of the Iowa Code. Space is limited; however the public is allowed to follow in private vehicles if room is not available.
