Builders, landscapers and excavators are encouraged to attend
Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL), an Alliant Energy company, is participating in the Iowa One Call 2013 Excavator Safety Awareness Program offered at locations throughout the state. The program is designed to inform and educate those who work outside to learn more about working safely near underground utility systems.
Builders, landscapers and excavators are encouraged to attend. Representatives from Iowa One Call will examine the benefits of “Working Together for a Safer Iowa.” The event will begin with a free lunch at 11:30 a.m. with the program following at 12:15 p.m. There is no fee to participate, but attendees should register online at iowaonecall.com.
