December 1st, the Friends of the Shelter launched "A Home by 2013" project.

All young cats, and old timers alike, that are spayed/neutered, up to date on distempter shots, felc tested negative, and microchipped, with an approved application are eligible for the special adoption price of $25.

You can view the cats at www.pawsforfriends.com or you can stop in at 211 W. 4th St. in downtown Vinton on Thursdays & Saturdays or email vintonshelter@yahoo.com with any questions. Please note that kitten adoption fees are not eligible.
