Veterans groups honor those who served their country during the Veterans Day ceremony.

Area veterans' groups honored veterans on Sunday, during the annual Veterans Day service.

Relocated to the US Bank Community Room because of rainy, cold weater, the service included tributes to living members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard, as well as memorials to veterans who have died.

MK November 12, 2012, 4:03 pm I too would like to thank all the Veterans and community that braved the rain to come join us in saluting all veterans both living and deceased. Thank you to Kelly Elliot for a wonderful speech and to our two young men that played the taps for us. Good job!!!! We had a good turnout, with good food and fellowship after the ceremony. God Bless Our Veterans both living and deceased!!!!!!!!!!! Without them we wouldn't have all that we have. We can never thank them enough. Thank you to Dean Close for the great coverage of this event. We appreciate your support.
