There will be a two hour early dismissal on Thursday afternoon, August 30, for the Vinton Shellsburg School district, due to the heat.
There will be no PM preschool.

ROAugust 30, 2012, 9:40 amWhat buildings are not air conditioned? Does it have to be a school wide early dismissal? Why can\'t we just excuse the non air conditioned buildings? Why can\'t they do the teacher inservice today and cancel tomorrow\'s early out? We must my child\'s education suffer because of all the early dismissals every year?!
