News : Benton County Sheriff\'s Report: April arrests and citations

Benton County Sheriff Randall Forsyth reports that deputies answered 321 calls for service and investigated 12 accidents. Deputies attempted to serve 174 civil papers and issued 88 traffic citations and 155 traffic warnings.

There were 35 arrests/juvenile referrals with 40 charges being filed in April 2012.

(25) were simple misdemeanors, (13) were indictable misdemeanors, and (2) were felony charges.

Charges included: Assault – 2; Warrants served –6; Criminal Mischief –2; Harassment – 1; Interference With Official Acts – 1; Operation Without Owner’s Consent –1; OWI –4; Possession of Alcohol Under Age –11; Drug Related -3; Trespass –1; Violation of No Contact Order – 1; Driving While Suspended / Revoked –6; Contempt – 1.
