One of the things we wanted to create for our site is what they call an RSS Feed, and as usual I am googling that to see what it means....well, it's often called a Really Simple Syndication.
In short it allows sites like Topixs (A news website) to link into our site and use our stories and send them out to their readers. When their readers click on the story, it routes the person back to our website, giving Vinton a bit of publicity through sites like this.
This is one of those improvements that I smile at. When I opened my e-mail from Topix today and all I saw were stories from, well us, you can't beat that! It's much better having Vinton stories covered by someone from, well, Vinton!
Thanks again everyone for your kind support to make things like this possible!
Below is a copy of today's e-mail from Topix;)
