The 3rd Annual Benton County Speedway Race Car show will take place Sunday, April 1st from 10am-1:30 p.m. in downtown Vinton. Sponsors for the event include the RonDaVoo Lounge and Deli, Vinton Unlimited and Action Track Photography.
The show hosted nearly 30 cars in 2011, and with warm weather in the forecast an even bigger turnout is expected.
Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite cars during the show, with trophies being awarded to the top ranking drivers during the evening races at the fairgrounds.
Gates at the fairgrounds will open after the car show at 2pm. Hot laps start at 4pm with racing to follow.
Grandstand admission is $10, kids 6-12 are $4 and ages 5 and under are free with a paid adult.
The 5th and final night of the 2012 Frostbuster will take place on Easter Sunday, April 8, with a guest appearance by NASCAR driver Kenny Schrader. For more information join the Benton County Speedway on Facebook.
