The Vinton-Shellsburg High School speech students pictured here received "One" ratings at the Iowa High School Speech Association’s District and State Large Group Speech Contest held at Grinnell High School and at Cedar Rapids Washington High School on Jan. 21st and Feb. 4th.   The groups consisted of the One Act Play, Musical Theatre, Solo Mime, Ensemble Acting and Group Improvisation. The members of the Musical Theatre Group who performed "Thoroughly Modern Millie" were chosen for All-State. They include Emma Lippmann, Tess Noeller, Matt Walston, Emma Horst, and Maddie Springer.
