News : Give blood to bring in scholarship money

Vinton-Shellsburg High School will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive this Friday, November 11, from 2:30-6:30 in the school commons. By hosting a blood drive, VSHS becomes eligible to participate in the "Young Minds Change Lives" Educational Scholarship Program, which awards our school scholarship money based on the number of units of blood we collect. The public is welcome and encouraged to donate blood to support this scholarship program. Call Deb Cummings at 436-4728 x-9307 to schedule an appointment.
