Members of the Benton County American Legion recently took time to honor the sacrifices of America’s veterans by placing a memorial wreath at the Benton County Memorial along Highway 30.

American Legion members Jay Herman, Ed Shaeffer, Bill Danker and Doug Anderson participated in the tribute, helping ensure that local veterans are remembered and honored for their service to the nation.

The wreath, created by Sue Herman, now stands at the memorial as a visible reminder of the courage and dedication shown by those who served in the armed forces.

Travelers along Highway 30 can see the display and reflect on the sacrifices made by area veterans and their families.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all veterans in the area for their service and commitment to our country.
