News : Center Point-Urbana FFA finds success at Sub-Districts

The Center Point-Urbana FFA chapter had an outstanding day at sub-districts. Beginning with teams, Conduct of Chapter Meetings scored gold and placed 2nd overall. This team included Kolten McLaughlin, Kyla Russler, Brynne Hite, Tabitha Letts, Sophia Blackwell, Audrey Seiler, and Emily Cue. Bella Edler, Kinze Manson, and Hannah Walvatne competed in Chapter Program of Activities and received gold for their amazing presentation, demonstrating their deep knowledge of the chapter and events. 

In individual events, Emersyn Mathieson received a gold rating in Ag Sales and secured an advancement to districts. Evelynn Kratz also received gold in her Radio Broadcast and will advance to districts. Caleigh Lewis placed 1st overall in Public Speaking, highlighting her incredible public speaking talent. Addyson Sweeney demonstrated her interview skills and received a silver rating in Job Interview. Camryn Fisher took on the challenge and presented the chapter website and received gold. She is also an alternate for districts. 

It was a record breaking year for the Center Point-Urbana chapter. With six gold ratings and five advancements to districts, it has started an exciting LDE season. It is incredible that the chapter has achieved this level of success in only three years since it was chartered. Members are anticipating another great day at the upcoming district competition and are excited to continue showcasing their abilities and talent.
