The magic of Christmas made a special stop in Vinton on Tuesday when the Vinton Kiwanis Club welcomed a very important visitor to Pizza Ranch — Santa Claus himself.

Thanks to the Kiwanis’ well-known “inside connections” at the North Pole, Santa was able to squeeze Vinton into his busy holiday schedule once again. Using a trusted network of helpful elves, the Kiwanis made sure everything was in place for a safe and joyful visit.

This year, Todd Frank took on the important job of guiding Santa’s sleigh to a smooth landing, ensuring the holiday guest arrived safely and right on time.

Children from the Vinton-Shellsburg School District were treated to a festive Christmas dinner, laughter, and the kind of excitement only Santa can bring. Each child received a special gift and candy cane straight from the North Pole, creating smiles that said more than words ever could.

The event is a cherished annual tradition, one that has allowed Santa and the Vinton Kiwanis to share the spirit of Christmas with area children for many years. It’s a reminder of the joy that comes from giving and the warmth of a community that looks out for its youngest members.

Photos from the event capture the magic and can be viewed HERE.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to every member of the Vinton Kiwanis Club for making this wonderful event possible year after year. Your dedication, kindness, and holiday spirit truly make Christmas brighter in Vinton.
