Through the wet and the wind, the snow and the cold, the bell ringing goes on ! We appreciate you, our volunteers.
Thank you to all who are donating, whether in the Red Kettle, by check, or by QR Code. It all adds up.
We have our regular and returning supporters- area churches, service organizations- Kiwanis, Knights of Columbus and the Lion's Club, as well as local businesses, 4H Clubs, and Youth Groups. Many individuals ring every year also.
This year we will add the local Sheriff's Dept that will ring the bell on Wednesday, December 10th. Thank you to the Sheriff Upah and the Deputies!
BTW, all checks, whether personal, estate or portfolio, etc., need to be made out to “Benton County Salvation Army.” That ensures the funds will certainly stay here in Benton County. If we deposit the check here in Benton County, it will stay here. Mail to: Benton County Salvation Army, 1201 C. Ave, Vinton, Iowa 52349.
There are still some times to ring that remain open at this time, so call Scott at 319-582-3852, or Julie at 319-329-7119, to sign up.
Santa will be ringing the bell on Tuesday, December 9th from 3-5 pm.
Remember, if you ring for 3 hours or more, your name can be drawn for some cash cards from local businesses-- Subway, Theisen's, LaGrange's, Koop's oil change, Casey's and Pizza Ranch
Merry Christmas Everyone!
