During the government shutdown, Hy-Vee will be sharing recipes that families can make for $3 or less per serving on its social media channels over the next few weeks. The meals will include products featured in Hy-Vee’s weekly ads.
Customers can an also help their local food pantries by buying $5 and $10 food bank donation bundles. The bags will include items most needed by food pantries, like canned vegetables, pasta sauce, canned proteins and cereal. Stores will deliver any purchased bags to their local food pantry daily.
