News : Holiday With a Cop gearing up to help Santa

It's just about that time of the year again! Time to lend Santa a hand!

Each year, the Vinton Police Department, Sheriff's Department and sometimes the Iowa State Patrol lend their officers for a night of shopping with area children in preparation for Christmas.

Funds for this event are raised through the Vinton Peace Officers’ Association.  If you would like to help out, donation checks can be made out to:
