The winner of the "Mild Salsa" category was Dawn Richards of Vinton. Taking second place in that division was Renee Petersen of Vinton. The first place winner in the "Hot & Spicy Salsa" category was Roger Boyles of Center Point. Gene Womochil, Jr. took second place in this division.

Brenda Bartz, Michele Sauer, Padre Scott Merchant, Kellie Brodigan and Brian Larkin were this year's Salsa tasting judges. After these great judges completed their tasting, chips and salsa were served up to all that visited the market.
