News : 13th Annual Party in Pink a Success

As I reflect on today, I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible support from our community. Despite the rainy start, the 13th Annual Party in Pink 5K/10K was a true success-wrapped up beautifully with a rainbow.

Over 100 amazing volunteers and more than 100 dedicated participants showed up with heart and spirit. Some 10K runners braved water hazards and came back smiling, while over half chose to do the 5K route twice-and did so with impressive times!

To everyone who took on the 5K-your grit and tenacity were inspiring. And to those who completed the one-mile walk-your presence, purpose, and participation mattered just as much. Every step, whether one mile or ten, was taken in honor of hope and healing.

It wasn't sweltering heat this year, but a steady, soaking rain that only added to the experience. While I'm not a runner myself, those who participated told us it was a blast.

The most talked-about highlight? The volunteers stationed along the trail, offering guidance, encouragement, and energy. Truly the best volunteers ever-you make a difference every day, and especially today.

Even though today was a challenge, it doesn't compare to the daily battles faced by those diagnosed with breast cancer. I celebrate their courage, strength, and determination to keep going-even on the hardest days. Your fight inspires everything we do. 💖

Thank you all for supporting Gifts of Hope-helping provide funds for those with a breast cancer diagnosis, those needing annual wellness visits, and those in need of a mammogram.
