News : Heat Advisory - updated

UPDATED:

A quick note that confidence has increased in heat this weekend and as such we have issued an Extreme Heat Watch for that period for all of eastern Iowa and Rock Island and Mercer Counties in Illinois. If trends continue, some heat headlines will likely be issued for the rest of the area. There are signals this heat may also continue into Monday and possibly Tuesday.
With this being the first heat episode of the season, and being multi-day with very warm nights offering little reprieve, we want to stress reminders on heat safety. Please see the attached Weather Story graphic for more.
