News : Benton County Angel Tree now accepting applications

Benton County Angel Tree is now accepting applications for help with Christmas through December 7. If you receive any kind of assistance from the government and live in Benton County your family is eligible.This year I am training my successor for Angel Tree, Macey Stout who will be taking Angel Tree fully over next year. She will be helping me take calls and help with the applications this year.I appreciate all the help that I have received from my family and all the volunteers that have helped me all these years, without them I would have never been able to do this alone. I also want to thank all the organizations, churches, and individual families that has donated so many gifts over the years. I hope you will continue to bless the community. I am so thankful that I have been able to help Benton County families for the past 20+ years.If you want to sign up for help here is how you can do that:(1) Go to First Christian Church in Vinton(2) call, text, or FB message LaNette Kenney Parker(3) call Macey Stout at 319-721-6675, this will be the new Angel Tree number for next year.Again I want to say thank you to everyone, especially my family!!!
