News : Vinton Cruise this Saturday, September 23, 4-6:00 p.m.

Saturday, the annual Vinton Cruise will kick off events beginning at 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. with the Kiddie Cruise on the west side of the courthouse. There is no entry fee to participate. Strollers, tricycles, bicycles, wagons, battery ride toys.

Enter at the Ketchen building or John's Tire corners.

12-4:00 p.m.

Registration and prizes for the cruise will be in front of the courthouse. Registration is $10 entitles registration for door prizes and dash plaque to the first 400 registered. There will be many other drawings and chances to win on the day of the cruise.

There will not be any early registrations.

Cruise from 4-6:00 p.m.

No motorcycles or throwing candy from the vehicles.

There will be a 50/50 drawing to benefit the Vinton Fire Department.
