News Benton County adds another Royal Title Recipient in 2023

Emily Rose Ingalls the daughter of Loren and Patti Ingalls of Newhall, is no stranger to being royalty. In 2022 Emily reigned as the Benton County Fair Princess. This past weekend, she was crowned the 2023 National Cattle Congress Fair Queen.

She said that she ran for this contest "because I wanted to be a role model for young girls in the community. I wanted to be someone that kids can look up to." She hopes that this will inspire other girls to compete to be the next Fair Queen.

Emily is a graduate of the Benton Community School District she is now a current student at Iowa State University. Majoring in Early Education she plans to teach preschool.
