Good Neighbor Recipients

The Palace Theatre and Vinton Unlimited are proud to announce the latest Vinton Good Neighbor recipients. The Good Neighbor project is an effort to recognize those in our community whose good deeds may go unnoticed, to encourage people to look for the positive things in our community, and hopefully prompt residents to participate and become "good neighbors" themselves. All community members are welcome to participate. Anyone may nominate any individual or business in the community. The nominees may be recognized for any reason the nominator feels are important as long as it pertains to benefiting others in the community.

The latest Good Neighbor Award recipients are:

Cobblestone Inn for being extremely kind, protective, assistive, and understanding to a local guest who needed extended stay and protection.

Kurt & Lu Karr for setting examples of 'alley beautification' and improving the downtown area.

Lee Schwenker for providing snow removal for several people in the community.
