News : Chilangos Mexican Restaurant open for business!

Chilangos Mexican Restaurant is now open at the former Pizza Hut location in Vinton! Owner Michael Gonzalez is no stranger to hard work and to managing businesses. 

With several businesses that he's opened and operated in Cedar Rapids, he has stepped in to get a new business up and running here in Vinton. For the foodies, he is also looking at the possibility of starting another restaurant in downtown Vinton at a later date. 

Chilangos will be open every day from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Serving a full menu from appetizers to desserts, the business has hit the ground running. With appetizers that include wings, a queso fundido, nachos and many other options...there will be something for everyone. There are the usual tacos, burritos, chimichangas, fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas, platters, seafood, a house special, lunch specials and of course all the drinks (no alcohol until Tuesday). They have Coke products, chocolate or white milk, tea, raspberry tea, horchata, Jarritos and Agua De Tamarindo.
