On Thursday January 12th, the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter hosted the annual Holiday Lock-In. Members gathered in the Ag Room in preparation of being "locked-in" at 9:00 P.M. After going over the expectations on the night, the fun began.

Once the lock-in began members were able to play games of volleyball, basketball, pickleball and much more.

Chaperones Mark Pingenot, Kelli McClintock, Jenni Birker, Chad Newton, Louise Fleming, and Gabby Power helped keep the night running smoothly by helping members work on applications such as their Iowa Degrees and Proficiency applications as well as their upcoming leadership contests.

Freshman Wes McKenna said, "I enjoyed playing with the knockerballs and dodgeball the most!" while Kail Evans says his favorite part was getting to know new members and playing volleyball with everyone that was there. Members spent time making new friends and creating memories that they won't forget.
