News : Halloween activities bring more than 400 children to downtown Vinton

The Vinton Fire Department had several treats for the children as they stopped to see the firemen

With perfect weather, Vinton Parks and Recreation hosted more than 400 children and their families in downtown Vinton. With several activities for the children on the courthouse lawn, children were able to have a bit of fun before taking part in the parade through downtown Vinton.

Unfortunately the kids at the end of the line might have missed out on getting some of the candy provided by area businesses! Of course, there were dozens of princesses and a few mini firemen and policemen in the parade along with all kinds of characters.
