L.O.S.T. Loved Ones Safe & Together, is a program to assist in identifying and locating community members who have been separated from their families or caretakers. Individuals who suffer from Alzheimer's Disease, Autism or other medical conditions which involve memory loss, confusion, or are unable to communicate, may wander away from their homes. L.O.S.T. involves a voluntary collection of pertinent information and photographs of the affected individuals put into a database, so if needed, we can identify a missing person promptly. Being proactive with this data collection could shorten the duration of a loved one experiencing separation from their caregiver or family members. Additionally, they won't have to spend valuable time organizing information for law enforcement in a stressful situation. Information will be held privately unless authorized to be shared publicly during an event. Please click on this link https://cityofvinton.org/lost/ to download your form.
