Easton Lindeman was only 3 years old when he lost his fight against High-Risk Neuroblastoma. This is a form of cancer that attacks the adrenal glands, spinal column, and bone marrow. While his family continues to heal from this devastating loss, they have turned it into an opportunity to remember him on his birthday.

The family decided that they wanted to help other children who are now being treated at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital where Easton received his care. The family collected a van load of toys and activities and delivered the gifts in memory of Easton and his birthday in August.

The gifts were not left at the front door, but were delivered to one specific floor of the hospital. Level 11. This floor is the same floor where Easton was treated and fought. The family wanted to help boost the morale of other children and their families. Easton's family understands the battle and wanted to bring a smile to all of those children who are now being treated and are fighting to recover.

The family and friends of Corey and Samantha Lindeman were able to donate $3,296 worth of toys, art supplies and comfort items to the children and families at the hospital. The gifts were delivered last week along with the help of Easton's mom and brother Hunter.

Samantha sent a special message to her little boy, "Forever and always in my heart. Happy Birthday baby boy!"
