News : Vinton-Shellburg 2022-23 School Year now in Session

As students arrived at Tilford Elementary for their first day of school, you wouldn't have known for most that they had been gone for the summer. Many picked up where they left off greeting each other and the teachers in the hall. Some looked a bit apprehensive but so did some of the parents. 

There were last minute payments being dropped off for lunches and last minute registrations. New employees figuring out the programs, and computers doing their thing to make it all possible. 

The kitchen staff had just wrapped up serving their first back-to-school breakfast as the children hurried off to find their classrooms.

Vinton is fortunate to have all of our dedicated teachers and staff to coordinate all of the events that will happen this year for our children. Kudos to everyone who makes each year a success!
