News : Area Children decorated Downtown Vinton with Their Artistry

Last Saturday, July 2nd, Vinton Unlimited sponsored a chalk drawing event that was held in downtown Vinton.  Several area children participated in the activity creating pictures on the sidewalk. Some of the drawings were just for fun, some were serious and some were silly drawings.

Participants in the activity were provided with chalk, as well as freeze pops and popcorn. 

The children's artwork spanned the length of one city block from Cooling Dance Studio to New Beginnings Salon.

Each child received a certificate from Vinton Unlimited. Certificates were awarded for being the most patriotic, most creative, most pre-historic and even the most ducky!
