My name is Harlyn Heitshusen, the 17-year-old daughter of Willis and Cindy Heitshusen. I live outside of Urbana, Iowa on my family's horse and cattle ranch.

This following school year I will be a senior at Center Point-Urbana Highschool. Once I graduate I plan to attend Iowa State University, to study Biomedical Engineering, with a minor in Criminal Justice.

I am involved in volleyball, I play school and on a national club team, Stem Club, 4H, county council, working at Clickstop, volunteering in my community, and silver cord program.

During my school years, I have received academic excellence awards along with WAMAC Athlete Academic honors. In the past years, I've been a part of the girl scouts and Student Council.  In 2021 I was crowned Benton County, Iowa Miss United States Agriculture, along with the title, Overall Eastern Iowa Miss United States Agriculture, and went on to compete in the state pageant. I used my platform "Feeding the World" to travel around, visiting farmers, learning their stories, and spreading the word about the importance of Agriculture.
