Adam Lee Hildebrandt, former CPU teacher
A former Center Point-Urbana Middle School Homeroom, Science and Language Arts teacher was arrested and charged with Sexual Exploitation by a School Employee. 40-year-old Adam Lee Hildebrandt resigned last year.
He began having an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old female student during the 2020-2021 school year. The student stated that she confided personal issues to him in December 2020 and that their relationship started to change shortly after. She said that Hildebrandt had touched her hair and back and began giving her hugs during the last half of the year. He then began following her on Instagram and began messaging her.
In June 2021, Hildebrandt sent multiple messages to her. He wrote about her eyes, her smile and shared feelings of intimacy toward her. Police say Hildebrandt had said in these messages that he was aware the messages could be considered inappropriate.
In October of 2021, an investigation began followed by Hildebrandt retiring in December of that year avoiding a possible dismissal.
Following his arrest, he was released as long as he agrees to follow the law and have no contact with the student.

Not surprised he turned out to be a child rapist.
Funny how the police are expecting he'll follow the law and "not speak to her" since they're literally next door neighbors.
