News : Do you need to boost your Year End Giving? Help the Legion

The local American Legion George G. Luckey Post 57 would like to ask you to consider a donation to the post.

Like everyone else, because of COVID-19, the Post has had to curb their fundraising efforts this past year affecting their budget, no, to put it bluntly, they are struggling. For over 100 years the Legion has been in the area, serving where they can, and teaching others the importance of patriotism.

As you know the maintenance of the building and the utilities does not stop just because everything else does. Without the ability to hold their famous fish and tenderloin fries they have had very little income this past year to provide the various community services in which they love to participate.

The men and women of the armed services are a group that rarely if ever asks for anything. But when they do, you can be sure that there is a need, and they are asking now. Please consider a year-end donation to: American Legion Post 57, 105 North R Ave, Vinton, IA 52349
